South Bass Island Lighthouse

All of this light and its keeper's quarter are owned by the Ohio State University and are currently used as a research facility. It is considered private property, and not opened to the public. The optic has been removed from the tower which stands 60 feet high. The entire structure is framed of red-brick and is in excellent condition at age 100.
